The Possibility Thinkers Bible (My Bible 2)

Here are some notes (in point form), that I made many years ago in my Possibility Thinker’s Bible , when I was going through a rather difficult and dark period of my life. They tell of my early walk along the faith.

The wisdom in this book, the Holy Bible (and Dr Schuller’s Possibily Thinkers Bible) has served to sustain, encourage and even inspire me since that long time ago in the “deep valley of life”. It has been my guiding star, my central source of divine inspiration for many years now…and until the end of my days.

Even though I’m still not what may be termed “religious” (way more “airey/fairey spiritually-minded”), I hope that these brief notes (which “lit the way through reflecting and shining a light on part of my journey, “the road less travelled”) may do the same to you through encouragement, upliftment and even inspiration too.

THE POSSIBILITY THINKER’S BIBLE

(My Bible 2)

This Bible belongs to craig  (“just another child of God”

Written by the Holy Spirit  of Truth

…which will set you free.

Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you.

A true “labour of love”

Written by the Holy Spirit of Truth, which will set you free

“As the Father has sent me, I also send you.”

– John 20

“Write the vision and make it clear.”

A Spirit of faith, Spirit of Truth

Discover the light.

.Jesus is a focus for my faith.

A life lived in the Spirit of Christ will never die.

Jesus is the doorway by which I enter into the holiness of God.

God is IN us.

Unity in truth

The light.

Dependance on a right relationship with God

*************************************************

God, the Creative Source of Life is indefinable:  all that is highest and greatest in our values

God, the Great Restorer

“Jesus is the doorway, whereby I enter the holiness of God.”

A life lived in the Spirit of Christ will never die.

Put God first in your life… and everything else will follow.

He will give you the crown of life (Corinthians)

Jesus is a focus for my faith.

Jesus understood perfectly the power of the sub-conscious mind.

God, the Great Restorer

Jesus will intercede on your behalf.

I can vouch for that!

Do not quit. Remain faithful.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth

The Lord will make a way when their appears none

“As the Father has sent you, I also send you.”

– John 20

Jesus fills a void in our hearts.

“The anchor of our faith does not waver.”

“Forgiveness liberates the soul.”

Romans 12:2 : renewing the mind

Acts 1:8

You are as great as your faith…you can never go higher than your thoughts.

Jesus:

Liberator

Conquered death

Was a living Saviour

Jesus said: “I and the Father are one.”

My Grace is sufficient for you.

Jesus said: “You shall know people by the fruits that they bear: fruits like compassion, justice, peace, forgiveness, reconciliation, etc

The Bible teaches positive healthy thinking.

You CAN… if you THINK you can!

“If you are feeling hopeless, try just planting a seed of hope.”

– my good friend, Lindsay McIlraith (“the Prayer-warrior and the Prophet”)

Luke 9:67

It is upon faith that you will build the Kingdom

Put God first, then everything else will follow from that!

I believe in the Holy Spirit

The Spirit that made the world, the divine spark is in you, but first it has to be activated

“I am able to experience God’s presence on earth.”

– Ayrton Senna

His faith was about individual self-realisation

Faith is a:

*  choice

* a decision

*  a commitment

Lord, increase my faith

God works when you believe

“Look upwards and you go within.”

The New Testament welcomes the Messiah

*

Jesus’s indirect claims:

* to forgive sins

* to judge the world

in the name of  Jesus

forgive sins

new heart

new life

to  follow your example

see Mark 3:5 and Matthew 2:5

Jesus called himself ‘Son of Man’

The anchor of our faith does not waver

“Faith is the trigger that relieves  stress, doubt and uncertainty.”

Plant seeds of hope (in others).

“Do something beautiful for God.”

– Mother Teresa

Holy Spirit, Comforter, Spirit of Truth

“Lies breed lies

truth breeds truth.”

Through  your faith, you enter my Kingdom of God.

Faith is a choice, a decision, a commitment

“The anchor of our faith does not waver.”

“Lord, Expand my spirit”

“For my faith is greater than I.”

– John 14:38

THE EAGLE:

Part of cultural consciousness?

Wisdom and faith

Strong and powerful

Able to capture the vision

generous, loving and trusting

A believer in a God, who believes in YOU.

“I’d rather attempt something great and fail, than attempt nothing and succeed.”

– Dr Norman Vincent Peale (US preacher and author)

The truth is ONE, but different sages call it , God by different names, like “Supreme Soul”.

“And you shall know the truth

and the truth shall make you free.”

– John 8:32

The Gospel of Thomas

Jesus directs each disciple to discover the light within.

“If you bring forth what is within you, what you have will save you.”

– v 70

You have the spark within you

Overcome evil with (doing) good (Romans)

The Resurrection of Jesus symbolises the freedom of Spirittransformation.

“I am the light that is above everything, I am all ; all come forth from me and all has returned to me.”

“Jesus is the doorway whereby I enter  the holiness of God.”

” A life lived in the Spirit of Christ will never die.”

PRAYERS

Expand my spirit and reveal to the world Your Living Spirit.”

Let the Glory of God be revealed in YOUR life… today.

Author: craig lock

About the Author Craig has a 'passion' for writing books that tell stories about people doing positive things in this often so hard, sometimes unkind world, occasionally cruel, yet always amazing world - true stories that leave the reader feeling uplifted, empowered and hopefully even inspired. https://www.createspace.com/3779691/ and http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B005GGMAW4 Craig Lock loves to encourage and empower people to be the best they can possibly be, and to create what they want in life. Craig has learnt plenty from the "school of life" (still "battered and bruised") and also from a few "hard knocks on the head". He is an extensive world traveller (on a "shoestring budget") and failed professional emigrater who has spent most of his lifes savings on airfares. He is still sliding down the razor blade of life on the beautiful undiscovered island that is New Zealand, somewhere near the bottom (rude!) of the world near Antarctica. There he talks to the 60 million sheep! Craig has been involved in the corporate world (life assurance) for over twenty years in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. However, through a strange set of circumstances and finding himself in a small town near the bottom of the world ...and with nothing else to do, he started writing. That was five years ago. Five published books later and having written another twenty manuscripts (on widely differing subjects - well what else is there to do here?)... this is where Craig is in the "journey/adventure" that is life. Craig has taught at the local Polytechnic, as well as running a successful creative writing course (not teaching sheep!). He was the author of (as far as we know) the first creative writing course on the internet Craig has many varied interests and passions. He is particularly interested in the field of psychology – studying the human mind and what makes different people "tick-tock grandfather clock". He is fascinated by the "overlap between psychology and the dimension of spirituality". One of his missions in life is helping people make the most of their hidden potential and so finding their niche in life... so that they are happy. Craig’s various books probably tell more about his rather "eventful" life best (no one could believe it!). He writes books with serious messages and themes, then as a contrast "rather crazy, wacky stuff"…to keep him sane here. As an ‘anonymouse’ person wrote: "All of us are born mad; some of us remain so." Well nothing else much happens in quiet provincial New Zealand, other than headlines like "Golf Ball Thrown at Policeman" (it missed, btw!) and "Beach Toilet Closed for Season.". True! The various books* that Craig “felt inspired to write” are available at ebooks (digital books) http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B005GGMAW4 http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=la_B005GGMAW4_sr?rh=i%3Abooks&field-author=Craig+Lock Paperbacks (see https://goldendawnpublishing.wordpress.com/2016/12/20/paperback-writer/ and https://wanttowriteabook.wordpress.com/2013/06/07/paperback-writer-the-beatles/ https://www.createspace.com/pub/simplesitesearch.search.do?sitesearch_query=%22craig+lock%22&sitesearch_type=STORE https://www.amazon.com/Craig-Lock/e/B005GGMAW4/ref=pe_584750_33951330_sr_tc_2_0?qid=1476388259&sr=1-2-ent http://www.creativekiwis.com/index.php/books and http://goo.gl/vTpjk All proceeds go to needy and underprivileged children – MINE! “When the writer is no more , the value of your purchase will soar! “ “Together, one mind, one life (one small step at a time), let’s see how many people (and lives) we can encourage, impact, empower, enrich, uplift and perhaps even inspire to reach their fullest potentials…and strive for and perhaps one sunny day even achieve their wildest dreams.” PPS Don’t worry about the world ending today… as it’s already tomorrow in scenic and tranquil ‘little’ New Zealand

  1. Hi

    So “thanks for the thanx”

“As we live and move and have our being, so from this vision, we create heaven in our own lives… and perhaps even heaven on earth.”
    – craig (as inspired by Acts 17:28 and the words of Felicia Searcy)

“Aim at the earth and you may not get off the ground.
“Aim at the stars and you may reach the moon.”
“Aim at heaven and you’ll have earth thrown in…
and you may even hit the stars.”
    – craig (as inspired by the famous quote by CS Lewis – 24th May 2012)

“When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.”
    – Leonardo da Vinci

“If a man is called to be a street-sweeper,
he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted,
    or Beethoven composed music, or
    Shakespeare wrote poetry.
He should sweep streets so well
that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say,
here lived a great street sweeper
    who did his job well.”
    – Dr Martin Luther King, Jr.

Instead of trying to reply to each one of you, I’ll just keep on writing
“If the doctor told me I had six minutes to live, I’d type a little faster.”

“Let not our different beliefs set us apart as human beings, but rather let the Spirit of our shared humanity be what defines and unites us as common citizens of our planet.”

discovered any interesting article like yours. It is beautiful price sufficient for me.

In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made excellent content as you
did, the internet might be a lot more helpful than
    ever before.

  6. Its like you learn my mind! You appear to know a lot approximately this,
like you wrote the book in it or something. I believe
that you just can do with a few % to drive the message house a little bit, however instead of that, that is
magnificent blog. An excellent read. I will certainly be back.
